12 Months

I’ve had a really weird and difficult 12 months. Some amazing things have happened and also a strange feeling of emptiness I haven’t been able to shake for months now. I really haven’t been myself for a while, so 2012 is going to be finding about the drive and motivation I had a few years back. Not listening to others and going with what I feel inside. New music and a new headspace. 2012 is going to be the best year yet, I can feel it. 

In 2011 I left my management, my record company and I didn’t really settle into doing anything productive. I can see my guitar looking at me in the corner of the room as I write this and truthfully that’s the only thing that matters to me. It’s not easy trying to ‘make it’. I’ve been trying since I was about 15, I’m now 25… that’s 10 years…. 10 years man! a decade!

As corny as it sounds, it really isn’t about the destination, it’s about the journey. People will come in and out of your life, some you remember and some you’ll forget, but wow what an amazing journey it is.
